Op zaterdag 3 oktober wordt er een excursie georganiseerd naar de M940 Oostende van de Belgische Marine. Dit is de nieuwste mijnenjager van de Vlissingenklasse, waarvan de Belgische Marine er 6 heeft besteld en de Nederlandse Marine ook 6. De M940 is op 24 juni 2026 gedoopt en alle hightechapparatuur, zoals drones, is aan boord vanwege oefeningen die momenteel op de Noordzee worden uitgevoerd!
De excursie vindt plaats in het weekend, van 11.00 tot 13.00 uur. Het schip ligt in de haven van Rotterdam. Er zijn 20 tickets beschikbaar. Inschrijven kan tot en met donderdag 24 september 12u00. Bij meer dan 20 inschrijvingen zal er worden geloot.

On Saturday, October 3, an excursion will be organized to visit the Belgian Navy’s M940 Oostende. This is the newest minehunter of the Vlissingen class; the Belgian Navy has ordered six of them, and the Dutch Navy has also ordered six. The excursion will take place over the weekend, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The ship will be docked in the Port of Rotterdam. There are 20 tickets available. Registration is open through Thursday, September 24 12u00. If there are more than 20 registrations, a drawing will be held.
